Snapt One: Exchange 2013 Load Balancing

Snapt One provides an automatic wizard for configuration load balancers for Microsoft Exchange 2013. To use the wizard navigate to the Balancer -> Create a load balancer menu item and then choose Exchange.

Creating Your Group

Once you select the Exchange Wizard you will be taken to a page where you must complete the following tasks:

  1. Specify an IP address to listen on.
  2. Set a name for your group (for reporting, alerts, etc).
  3. Add the Exchange servers IP addresses.

This can be seen below. It is important to specify an IP and not use Any as the port 25 bind can clash with our local email daemon.

Microsoft Exchange 2013 Requirements

Microsoft Exchange 2013 comes ready to go for load balancing and DOES NOT need any port or registry changes with Snapt One. After the wizard you can start the software load balancer and it will be up and running immediately.
