Stopping automatic logins on the console

By default, the console is logged in as the user “snapt” when the system boots.

You can simply remove this functionality so that whenever the server is restarted that whoever makes use of the console will have to log in again, to remove this follow the steps below.

/etc/systemd/system/getty@tty1.service

When editing that file, remove “–autologin snapt” from the ExecStart line.
