Tips for installing the Snapt VM

We have packaged Snapt into various VM images to help you get started. You will find them at http://downloads.snapt.net. If you are not sure which VM to use, Feel free to get in touch with us to help.

General Tips

  • When setting up a VM, The operating system to select is OpenSuse 64-bit or Linux Other 64-bit if it is not available.
  • To continue past the country select popup in the setup you can press ALT+N.
  • Run ‘networkConfig’ from the console to change your network setup.
  • Manage your system through the Snapt UI using your web browser (e.g. http://192.168.56.101:8080).
