How we define an Upstream at Snapt

When Deciding on a License to purchase from Snapt you may see that there is a limit to the amount of Upstreams on our Standard packages and that there are unlimited upstreams on our Enterprise packages.

At Snapt an Upstream is defined as a Backend server denoted by an IP:Port combination, the word Upstream is commonly used to define a web server when Load Balancing.

If you wish to evaluate load balancing to your upstreams before purchasing a license then feel free to sign up for a free trial as there are no limits to the amount that you can create when testing Snapt.
